Townsville 400
The Townsville Chamber of Commerce has been committed to the success of the Townsville 400 since its inception in 2009, when we were invited to become a part of the inaugural committee.
We seek to ensure that the race week extends beyond the track. The Townsville 400 creates opportunity for the business community through a Festival developed by the committee and partners. The Townsville 400 Festival takes place in the week leading into the racing event.

The Townsville 400 Committee supports the business community by delivering
- A calendar of event to extend visitors length of stay and provide extended economic benefit to the region
- Research to benchmark the event’s Service Quality Standards and the economic benefit the Festival brings to the region
- A Festival volunteer program that supports locals and visitors to experience the events on offer
- A mentoring program to develop opportunity for business during the Festival
- A competition for businesses displaying a race festival profile
