The Chamber Projects Committee (CPC), formerly known as the Young Chamber Committee, has reformed to focus on supporting future generations of business.

With a passion for promoting good business and developing skills for the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs, the CPC aims to create commerce opportunities through a range of projects. The committee includes an array of industry skills connecting members and the community to innovative business promotion.

Focusing on commercial success, activities include Cash Mobs, targeted discussions with individual businesses seeking marketing direction, and desktop reviews of small business’ sales strategies.

Professional Skills

JCU students are offered the Pathway To Success program, an accredited series of events preparing student for the beginning of their career. Events include Speed Interviews, Networking for Success, and Master of Self-Marketing. The Entrepreneurship Workshops support students interested in starting their own business with a one-on-one business plan consultation conducted with one of our Board members. Participating students are given a one year Townsville Chamber Student Membership.

Be an Ambassador!

The CPC is looking for volunteers to assist with short-term (three months) projects.The CPC Ambassador program is for those with talent, knowledge, professional skills, and a passion to make Townsville a better place to do business.
