12 June, 2020, Posted By tvlchamber

This week our President, CEO and board members met with the Hon. Cameron Dick, Queensland Treasurer, Minister for Infrastructure & Planning, the Hon. Shannon Fentiman Minister for Employment and Small Business and the Minister for Training and Skills Development, our local State Government Representatives, Chambers of Commerce from across the region and senior departmental staff from across the State, to advocate for the needs of businesses in our region:

  • The need for confidence, certainty and a clear plan for 6 – 12 – 18 Months
  • Payroll tax exemptions
  • Stamp Duty
  • Decentralisation
  • Procurement –  ”Delegation of Authority”
  • Risk of Employing – Need Businesses to have certainty and focus on growth
  • Regulation – Allow businesses to innovate, do not regulate.

If there are things you would like us to advocate for and discuss on your behalf please let me Ross know [email protected]ADVC
