QLD government Logo BannerQueensland Small Business Month (QSBM) is back!

Returning in May 2020, the month-long celebration of small businesses features an expanded program to help local businesses grow and adapt.

QSBM 2020 will provide small business owners with the opportunities to learn and acquire new ideas, skills and tools to take their businesses to the next level.

How can I get involved?

Apply for a Queensland Small Business Month Grant

The QSBM 2020 Grants program offers eligible Queensland organisations and individuals access to grants of up to $5,000 (excluding GST) to host an event, project or initiative that will benefit small businesses within their community.

Don’t miss out! Online applications are now open and close 5:00pm Tuesday 10 March 2020.

Host an Event

Why not take part in QSBM 2020 and submit an event to host in your region?

QSBM 2020 can include events, conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, podcasts, awards, training or other activities.

Attend an Event

Block out your calendar! In May 2020 you can take part in events to help you transform your small business and network with your small business community.

Keep an eye on our current list of events and register for one near you.

For more information on all things QSBM 2020, visit the Business Queensland website. If you have any questions, get in touch with the team on QSBM@desbt.qld.gov.au.

In the wake of health advice regarding physical distancing and restriction on social gatherings, the Townsville Chamber is temporarily suspending its event calendar. The CBD Coffee of Thursday 2 April is suspended and we will resume outdoors networking events as soon as safe to do so. The Business Matters presentation by Townsville City Council on Tuesday 31 March at YWAM has been postponed. We are investigating other ways to deliver Business Matters information sessions and will advise in due course. We thank you for your understanding. Keep checking our website and social media pages for updated information on assistance for businesses. Dismiss
