“Both myself and my husband Ryan have just graduated from the TAFE Small Business Solutions program. We were taken through by our talented and patient mentor. Her experience guiding us through the program and adapting it to our needs as an online fishing course business were remarkable. In the past we only took a cursory look at the finances but now have a much better understanding. Her contact list is exceptional and we were able to hire new staff using her advice. The hires were based on what we determined to be the immediate needs of the business after going through the program’s step by step process. Highly recommend this course to all aspiring entrepreneurs struggling to scale. It really helped with our decision making and understanding our strengths and weaknesses. Thanks TAFE!”

In the wake of health advice regarding physical distancing and restriction on social gatherings, the Townsville Chamber is temporarily suspending its event calendar. The CBD Coffee of Thursday 2 April is suspended and we will resume outdoors networking events as soon as safe to do so. The Business Matters presentation by Townsville City Council on Tuesday 31 March at YWAM has been postponed. We are investigating other ways to deliver Business Matters information sessions and will advise in due course. We thank you for your understanding.
