The Metropole Hotel boasts great views towards the Harbour and back to Castle Hill, is only a 5 min stroll from the nightclub strip and 15 minutes from the airport.

The Metropole Hotel is the perfect environment for conferences, banquets, intimate or large weddings and cocktail parties, to name a few, with old world charm with and the look of a genuine Queensland pub.

At “The Met” we strive to exceed our guests’ expectations by providing great food and fantastic customer service in an environment that is totally unique to Townsville.

The Metropole has a new dinner menu available 6-9pm every day. Breakfast is also available every day, served as a delicious buffet or a la carte menu.

In the wake of health advice regarding physical distancing and restriction on social gatherings, the Townsville Chamber is temporarily suspending its event calendar. The CBD Coffee of Thursday 2 April is suspended and we will resume outdoors networking events as soon as safe to do so. The Business Matters presentation by Townsville City Council on Tuesday 31 March at YWAM has been postponed. We are investigating other ways to deliver Business Matters information sessions and will advise in due course. We thank you for your understanding.
