The public consultation period for the Draft port overlay for the priority Port of Townsville will close 5:00pm Monday 16 December 2019.
The public consultation period provides you with an opportunity to make a formal submission on the draft port overlay in accordance with the Sustainable Ports Development Act 2015 (Ports Act). Submissions will be considered during the preparation of the final port overlay.
How to make a submission
A formal submission must be made in writing to the Minister for Transport and Main Roads, stating the name and contact details (email and/or postal address) of each person or entity making the submission. Submissions can be sent via email to [email protected] or posted to:
