Marissa Candy, The Marketing Factory and Kim Yabsley, Stratcomm


Marissa Candy has been involved in the media and marketing industry for the past 15 years and prides herself on intimate knowledge of her industry.  Throughout her career, Marissa has honed her business and professional development skills throughout Australia and internationally and across a variety of industries including industrial, tourism, commercial and building, which has resulted in many achievements.
Today, Marissa has a variety of roles;

  • She is the Director of The Marketing Factory, an advertising agency based on Flinders Street, Townsville, which rates in the Top 7% of creative industries in Australia.
  • She is also the Founder and Editor of Success North Queensland.

Kim Yabsley

As a leading consultant in the field of organisational development (with specialist expertise in resilience and culture change), Kim has helped many organisations ‘future proof’ themselves through the development and  implementation of strategic frameworks to manage change and develop resilient workforces.

Kim has significant experience in various communications, organisational development and strategy roles across the public and private sectors and has assisted clients to identify and understand organisational gaps, develop tools to address these gaps and facilitate the implementation of tools to ensure sustained change in the workplace, measurable through business outcomes.
