BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
recognizes a company that has made a significant contribution to Townsville's business community through an unrelenting pursuit of excellence in business. This award celebrates businesses that demonstrate outstanding performance, innovation, and leadership, setting benchmarks for success and contributing positively to the local economy.
SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Recognises excellence in running a small business in Townsville. This category is for privately-owned companies with five to twenty employees that demonstrate outstanding performance, innovation, and community involvement, contributing positively to the local economy.
YOUNG BUSINESSPERSON OF THE YEAR
Celebrates outstanding individuals aged 35 and under who have achieved significant success for their company and contributed positively to the city of Townsville. This award recognises the dedication, innovation, and leadership qualities of young business professionals making a difference in the community.
TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION AWARD
Recognises game-changing companies operating in Townsville that have developed nationally or globally competitive products, processes, or services. Nominations can be for a single product or service initiative or an overall strategy that showcases significant innovation and impact.
RAISING REGIONS AWARD
Recognises organisations that are transforming the North Queensland region by bringing new industry developments, creating jobs, and raising the significance and reputation of Townsville and the broader North Queensland area.
PEOPLE & CULTURE EXCELLENCE
Acknowledges companies that have made a significant impact on their own workplace culture and people in their organisation. The award celebrates and champions diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace and beyond.
NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATION OF THE YEAR
Recognizes excellence in running a not-for-profit organisation or charity in Townsville. This category is for not-for-profit entities only and commercial businesses are not applicable.
